Three generations, two continents, one thought.
HANSATON, the successful family business.
When Rudolf Fischer founded Hansaton Akustik GmbH in 1957 and in the following years built up the sales of the American hearing instrument manufacturer Qualitone in Europe. He didn't think that his son would have even bigger things in mind.
Uwe Fischer started off in his father's company in 1967 with his own development department: starting with hearing and speech systems for schools for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. The very first HANSATON BTE-hearing instrument was developed in 1970.
Since then, many innovations from HANSATON have attracted worldwide attention – and people in over 70 countries wear HANSATON hearing systems. Now in the hands of the third generation, development and expansion are driven forward to North America from the HANSATON headquarters in Germany.
Together with their father, Andreas and Johannes Fischer have a modern and successful manufacturing model: the utmost quality, made by people for people - an idea that has been implemented enthusiastically for more than 50 years.
